In March 2020, the WHO officially declared the global spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts between communities and citizens to support health workers to prevent the avoidable loss of life.
We recognise that the COVID-19 crisis is not just a health issue but also a socioeconomic crisis; its impact is cross-cutting and raises a number of diverse human rights concerns. We aim provide an immediate response to Human Rights violations with a social emphasis on mitigating the effects of COVID 19 in the UK and Zimbabwe. The activities will make an overall aim of empowering vulnerable communities, especially during this difficult pandemic time.
We’re deeply thankful to all of our wonderful donors who have given generously in the past. We need your support more than ever to ensure continued delivery of our work in these challenging times.
