Help with groceries

For a period of 12 months, we’ll be able to offer help practical support with food parcels and meal deliveries for eligible beneficiaries residing in CV (Coventry) postcodes.

Gas and electric top ups

You should never be without heat or electricity to keep your own home livable and safe. We can offer assistance with top ups for gas or electricity to alleviate financial strain you may be experiencing.

Mental health support

We’ll also be able to assist those who might benefit from mental health support as a result of the challenges of the pandemic including repeated lockdowns and long periods of isolation.

Why this project?

Thanks to a generous grant from the National Lottery, Dumi International Aid (DIA) is able to offer much-needed assistance to members of BAME (Black, Asian, minority and ethnic) or ethnically diverse communities who are facing serious personal and financial challenges as a result of the global pandemic.

Whether you’ve experienced illness or a loss of income due to job loss or isolation (or having to look after a loved one), we’d love to help. DIA is committed to making a difference in Africa but also right here in the UK.
